my hair transformation over the years

June 3, 2020 in hair, lifestyle

I feel like I haven’t posted in so long! May and June were such busy months for me, but I’m not complaining! Last time, I mentioned that I resigned from my 8-5 job and now I started working as a freelancer. I’ve had a couple of clients that came in last month so that’s the reason why I was on a blog-break for about two months.

By the title of this post, I think it’s pretty obvious that we’re going to talk about my hair! Lol. If you don’t follow me on my instagram, youtube or facebook yet, you probably don’t know that I went pink!

I have always been very open and experimental when it comes to my hair. Well, let’s just say I don’t have a ‘signature look’ when it comes to hair because I’ve been very impatient with it since high school so I really tried different cuts and ‘dos.

I’ve always had wavy and untamable hair so I had to rebond my hair once a year for it to be manageable but I grew tired of doing that so I decided to make my hair less boring. Haha!

To show you some of the styles I’ve tried over the years, here are some of my throwback photos…

i had an undercut in sophomore year!

bleach and dyed my ends green

just normal colors like black and brown

finally dyed my hair pink!

Now I finally decided to dye my own hair pink. I’ve always wanted to try it but after college, I started teaching so I wasn’t able to achieve it. But since I am already self-employed, I get to do the things I’ve always wanted to do!

I’m so proud to say that I dyed it myself. Although there are some patches in my hair because the bleach I bought wasn’t enough to cover everything, I can still say that it looks okay to me!

Watch my vlog to know the process I went through in dyeing my own hair here:

What are your thoughts about dyeing your own hair at home?
What color do you think I should try next?

A.) Lavender
B.) Peacock Green
C.) Wine Red
D.) Pastel Blue

Hey Bee, hope you’re doing well! And nice to meet you! First of all hope you’re having a nice Friday and thanks for your sweet comment on my blog, I hope you found it interesting 🙂

Ahhh and as you I have doing experiments to my hair in the previous years! Last year I had it in silver and it was difficult to keep but I’d say we’re here to play and hair is a good resource to experiment with!

Your styles looks awesome! Specially the latest with pink! Totally dreamy!

    Talk soon and keep safe!
