a life update and some other things

Hiii. I’m still alive! I know I haven’t been updating much lately. It has been almost 5 months since I last posted! So much has happened and I failed to update my blog consistently like I originally intended to. Last May, I left my job at Philippine Women’s University after working there for two years. And initially, I was planning to take a break from teaching and start working for the government but I guess the Lord has a different plan for me. I started working again at my new job last June, *still* as a senior high teacher at a new institution here in Tarlac. It’s a huge adjustment, yes, because the number of students I’m handling right now is almost twice the number I had last year and of course also because it’s a new environment to get used to.

I had the time today to update my blog which I swear I’ve been meaning to for such a long time but I seriously don’t have enough time to do so but anyway, today I finally did update! We had no classes since July 18 because of the typhoon so I’m currently stuck at home right now procrastinating even though I know I have lots of preparations to do. Lol.

Lately, I’ve become so addicted to Running Man. It’s a Korean variety show that has been running (no pun intended) since 2010. I’ve been hearing a lot about it before but I have never really gotten to watch any episodes until recently. It has become one of my stress relievers because teaching really is a stressful job so I need happy pills to get through every single day and I must say, amongst other things, Running Man has never failed me. Lol. If you haven’t watched it, I suggest you should! I especially like Jae Suk’s and Gwang Soo’s character most although all of them are great in their own way. I started watching the early episodes first so I haven’t gotten around the latest ones. If you’d like to give it a try, here are some of my favorite episodes so far: (I forgot some of the early episodes I like huhu)

  1. Episode 1: Times Square
  2. Episode 52: Running Man Hunting #1
  3. Episode 53: Running Man Hunting #2
  4. Episode 55: High School Girl Idols Special
  5. Episode 57: Jeju Island Special #1
  6. Episode 59: HipHop Special
  7. Episode 75: Hallyu Idol Special
  8. Episode 175: Escaping
  9. Episode 180: Running Man Cooking Battle #2
  10. Episode 181: Romeo and Juliet
  11. Episode 182: Hongkong Fan’s Race
  12. Episode 195: I’m MC Yoo

  1. I’m not really into Korean variety shows pero I’ve heard a lot of good things about Running Man. I’ve probably seen only one episode and it was many years ago pa when Shinhwa guested. Nakakatuwa nga siya.

    1. Ohh. I wasn’t into variety shows din at first, pero natuwa ako dito sa RN. This is just the kvariety program that I watch. Hehe. Ahh, kaya pala. They feature new and old groups din kasi.

  2. Hi Bee! I don’t often watch Korean variety shows, like probably most people …. I’m all for the drama series 😀 Though I will never forget Running Man because it made me discover Song JoongKi of Descendants of the Sun.

It feels good to see a fellow educator here in the blogosphere. Although in my case, I only take part time teaching stints. I understand your sentiments about teaching in SHS. Medyo madami at parang HS type ang management and system.

Thank you for visiting my blog and appreciating my photos. Have a great week ahead!

    1. Yay! I only see few fellow educators in the blogosphere, too! Yes, sobrang nakakastress lol kasi parang high school pa sila tho technically they’re already college students sa old curriculum. Thank you also, Diane! x
